Overproduced
I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see ROZ's music, a show that wasn't much about the music but what their visual production team could pull off. The spaceship stage was impressive; however, I went to see an elaborate stage, not ROZ. I did enjoy some effects on the 360-degree monitor, but it's sad that ROZ and their production team don't realize the importance of music in a concert. All I need is for the band to come out and perform their hit music, and I'm happy. The elaborate set up took away from the performance rather than adding to it. At the beginning of the show, Bono was pretty intoxicated (he did sober up as the performance went on), which I found quite entertaining actually, even though it could be annoying with most band performances. I found myself closely watching to see if he would tip over! Although their visual team was impressive, their audio crew was not. Adjusting audio when vocals are overblown should not be difficult, but I guess their audio team was too distracted to notice? Despite all this, it's ROZ. The music was pretty good, except for some adjustments when Bono tried to talk to the crowd. Don't expect to be blown away, except maybe your eardrums.
